About Lora Mayor

Lora Mayor is a certified Quantum Healing Hypnosis practitioner who recently founded Illuminated Truth Hypnosis in Washington Missouri. Lora was previously a board-certified human services practitioner with extensive experience as an advocate for domestic violence victims and people who struggle with addiction. Lora worked in the Social Services sector for most of her career, providing means and opportunity for her peers.

Growing up in Saint Charles County, Lora has faced adversity throughout her life. She lost her brother at a young age, battled the disease of addiction, is a survivor of domestic violence and sexual assault. Narcotics Anonymous, Counseling, support groups, along with an associate degree in human services were all instrumental in her healing journey, but she hungered for something more than tools or medications used just to get by. Lora had a “knowing” that she could find a way to thrive and find who she was meant to be, not who she was being told to be.

Lora found a passion for the study of different cultures and religions. She was amazed at the information she found when it came to health and wellness and spirituality. We all have powerful human bodies and are not taught how to properly use them. Lora has a great respect for everyone’s personal belief system because in her journey to finding herself, she used the NA principle of taking what resonated with her and leaving the rest. Lora believes in keeping an open mind and an open heart to truly be able to understand and assist others in their journey.

At the onset of Lora’s spiritual awakening, she was reading the books of Dolores Cannon. These books opened possibilities for her to grow and explore in a way she never thought possible. After 1 session Lora’s life was never the same, her spiritual growth skyrocketed. Her Subconscious was loud when telling her to learn the QHHT technique, quit her job, and open a hypnosis healing center. QHHT was the answer to questions Lora has always had! QHHT provided the healing both her family and herself always deserved.

Her desire to heal her community has inspired her to provide QHHT services to any willing participant and has already contributed thousands of dollars in free services locally. Lora’s drive to help others discover their truth and promote healing from emotional and physical ailments has inspired the launch of Illuminated Truth Hypnosis.

Lora is a mother of 3, grandmother of 2, a daughter, and a friend. She is committed to living a life full of adventure, laughter, joy and spiritual or personal growth. She is also an advocate for health and wellness in the Franklin County area and beyond.
